About

Who am I?

My name is James Thompson. I am a driven individual, interested in a plethora of things, mostly surrounding technology and computers, but occasionally stepping outside of that realm.  I own a company called Acute Technology. In my spare time, I build various websites, maintain this blog, play video games occasionally, and work. Yes, in my spare time I work. I love what I do.

What is this blog about?

This blog is all about my opinions about everything that interests me. Main technology and computers interest me, so my opinions and reviews will probably be about those things. Beyond my opinions, I’m interested in other peoples’ opinions as well.

When was I born?

March of 1984.

Where do I live?

I live in Morrisville, Vermont.

Why do I maintain this blog?

I would like to establish myself in the online community as a person with an opinion. I think that providing people with my opinion will challenge me to back that opinion up. I think that ultimately that will make me a better person.

  • Hey this is Jim from Jimvesting.com. I noticed that you commented on John Chow’s post about Standout Comments. I’ve recently put together a package that I call “Jimvesting’s Comment Miracle” which attempts to perfectly mirror the features of Stanout Comments with free plugins. Check out my project if you are interested here: http://bit.ly/b4eIty.

I’m sure this is something you’ll enjoy. Drop a comment if you like my efforts!

    Thanks.

BTW: Great looking blog, I hadn’t seen it before… I’m glad I found you. I’ll try to check back every now and then.
