Great Improvements to the Shoemoney System

Ok, so I have done two other reviews here and here.  They sum up week one and then a recap in week 3.  There have also been a ton of comments with user feedback.  Thank you to everyone that commented.

Make money online with Shoemoney.

Unlike the first three weeks, I am VERY happy with how the last few weeks have turned out.  We went through the Arbitrage series, and I’ve been excited to be working on that.  I’ve had mixed results – especially with international people (especially from Nigeria) trying to phish my auctions.  I’ll probably cover that in a separate blog post.

I talked to Jeremy for a little while Monday about the issues I’ve been having with eBay as well as shooting the shit about some of the other stuff in the Shoemoney System.

The biggest improvement they’ve made over previous weeks is the addition of micro videos that act much like a glossary for new users.  They focused on core training and there are no longer “how to sign up for x” videos.  I think that added a lot of value to the product overall.

Changing the whole system like that makes a huge statement about their ability to change based on the input from the users – as well as attesting to the back end support that comes with the product.

Let me cover my points from previous posts now:

  1. I still have no coupons – After talking with Jeremy, I understand that he’ll be rolling out coupons with each section that covers that particular coupon type.  If I’m not mistaken, Facebook will be first.  That makes sense.  He has agreements with the companies that provided the coupons that keep him from giving them all out at once.  Once again, that makes sense.
  2. I received my sign up gift! – I got Crush It and a Shoemoney shirt.  I’m reading Crush It now.
  3. The podcasts are still old – I really wish he’d either do more shows, or maybe pick out the irrelevant content.  I have heard – as of Friday’s webinar – that he’ll be making content available via podcast, but he needs to clear up some legal information regarding downloaded content vs. streaming.  I suppose he’ll need to work out some piracy protection as well.
  4. The videos finally taught me some things I didn’t already know – I think this is the biggest point.  I knew the arbitrage stuff in concept, but wasn’t sure of the details to work it all out.  I’m glad I could see a specific example – even if results aren’t typical.  I know how to do Facebook ads as well, but after talking with Jeremy, I hear there will be some hidden diamonds in there.
  5. Their support still isn’t very good, but I guess Jeremy isn’t very happy with them either.  He’s going to bring it in house like Shoemoney Tools, which should make responses MUCH better.

Overall, I’m very impressed this week – especially since I was able to work directly with Jeremy to solve some very specific problems.  I think everyone interested in making money online should try this product first – especially since it’s only $197 a month and has a 60 day money back guarantee.  Their return rate is also only 6% as of this post.  That’s amazing!

The Shoemoney System just opened up to new users again today, so if you want to sign up, check them out by clicking here.

Thanks so much James for your reviews. It is great that Jerry is truly open to listen and adjust the course materials as appropriate. It must be difficult for Jerry to evaluate various comments about the ShoeMoneySystem and determine which ones to react to…. but it is apparent he is truly listening and it will benefit everyone overall. At this point I would encourage anyone including myself who made a decision to go with the ShoeMoneySystem to hang in there …. as we did in fact make a great decision to become a participant in that system.

In the corporate I coordinated the design and implementation of many business systems and there is always those unanticipated issues and reactions by the users that need to be overcome.

The users hung in there as they knew and trusted me, as need to do with Jerry, to listen to truly listen to our concerns and respond accordingly.

  • I dont think Arbitrage (flipping) is a new concept to anyone. I have done it many times in the past. HOWEVER, the fact that Jeremy covered it opened my eyes to why I havent been doing it more often. So if nothing else, that is a plus.

I am really looking forward to the series on Facebook advertising. I REALLY hope he just doesnt teach us how to put your company on Facebook, but instead teaches us how to make money on offers. I have 4 ads on Facebook and out of 36,861 impressions, I ONLY have 24 clicks with zero money made. I need the help :)

I will bookmark your site and hopefully post more and we can all learn from each other on how to profit from Jeremy’s system.

Arbitrage wasn’t new to me, but it motivated me to try it. It’s not really my thing. I’m in the same boat as you for Facebook. The only things I can get to convert are local leads.

I just viewed the ebay arbitrage videos. It seems pretty straight forward once you settle in an item you know arbitrage will work with.

The example they used in the videos was the Rebel digital camera. What was the suggested methodology for a beginner to begin their search for a good item that would work for arbitrage?

I would think one would want to go about a search for ebay arbitrage items in a somewhat organized and methodical way.
Does that make sense? I was wondering if anyone else has thought about this?

They don’t point out a specific method for finding items. Really what you need to do is find something you a) know about, and b) is in high demand. Usually you can then scan all of the prices and see which ones are selling low and purchase them and then resell them. I actually ended up doing Playstation 3 60GB versions, which they don’t make anymore. I put up 10 auctions and sold all of them, and then bought a lot of 10 at about a 20% discount and sold them individually.

I don’t really like his example of going from Canada to the US, because the prices seem to be the same, depending on what options you had selected for searching. I guess my suggestion would be to find lots of 5 or ten, and break them up into individual auctions.

Also remember the you can arbitrage to and from eBay. I also had success leveraging some of my reseller accounts with hardware manufacturers to sell items at about a 30% markup.

  • I was very upset the first couple of weeks with the garbage videos for $200…setting up a gmail account, a tour of azoogle office space, signing up for an affiliate company, clicking your own offers…zzzzzzzzz. I took a break and am going back in this week to see the changes that were put into place and if they are worth me sticking around. The 6% return rate is pointless since we are still in the first 60 day money back window.

Valid point on the 6% – I hadn’t really thought about that. I was a bit upset with the last vid. We’re back to ‘how to sign up for facebook’… grrrr…

  • Does anyone know if the people that were allowed to join yesterday are already caught up to the people that joined on day 1? I hope they have to go through the same speed as us and they are only on the signing up for a gmail account. If they are caught up to us, I would like to cancel my account, get a refund, then sign up again under a different account and still have another 60 days to get a refund. I think that is fair.

The system is slow released to participants so you can’t do it.

  • So you called Jeremy and talked to him by phone?

I signed up the first day and I am happy with the improvement to the Shoemoney system this month so far, but their support is really bad, I sent 6 e-mail to them but no response at all till today. I think this is the first thing they should improve.

You’re totally right about the support. I think he’s planning on moving that in house – and it should get a lot better.

  • I’ve just started the Shoemoney system (and I’m blogging about my experiences as well!), but I haven’t got up to the arbitrage video yet. Is this how we make our first $100? – it was kind of an implicit promise.

I am enjoying what I’ve learned so far, and am eager to atart sinking my teeth in to the advanced stuff. Fingers-crossed that we can turn some of this advice into cash.

    Good luck with the course!

We’re really eager to hear your experiences. Theoretically you can make some great money from Arbitrage, so hopefully you make your first $100. Let us know how it goes!

  • Received a E-mail today about The ShoeMoney System is now permanently open from Jeremy, I thought it was a exclusive program only for 500 student. Now is just like “you pay me the money and I will let you in” money making program. I am disappointed.

    James Thompson Reply:

I think the first 500 was just a test group.

  • Awesome review James!

I am seriously thinking about joining the shoe money system but not too sure whether it is actually any good at teaching about adsense.

No one seems to mention about their adsense course or anything

    James Thompson Reply:

I’ve been using it for 8 weeks and we haven’t covered adsense at all yet. If you’re looking specifically for adsense stuff, I might consider some other course.

  • I am really looking forward to the next video. Everything that has been taught so far has been pretty self explanatory. Creating campaigns on Facebook is hopefully going to be the first gravy train for everyone. Although Im sure the offers that Jeremy teaches us in the videos is going to be the same offers that people in the Shoemoney System try to run. But I cant wait to learn more about it and get some helpful hints as so far my Facebook campaigns have gone nowhere!
